World journalists reward the “Thank you, doctors” campaign
The “Thank You, Doctors” campaign won the EPICA Gold Award at tonight’s online ceremony. The jury of this prestigious award consists of editors and journalists of the world’s most influential media in the field of advertising.
In a competition of 1,980 entries from 59 countries, the “Thank You, Doctors” campaign won gold in the Covid-19 Communications category, a prestigious award for responsible advertising. The campaign was realized in support of doctors and medical staff during the pandemic, and it was realized by the agencies McCann Beograd and UM Beograd in cooperation with Nedeljnik, for which special front pages were created.
“We are very proud that our work has become a symbol of gratitude to doctors and medical staff around the world, in the difficult year of the fight against COVID-19. We dedicate this award to them, as a record in time for their superhuman efforts. We thank the people around the world who shared the campaign on their personal profiles, as well as the members of the EPICA festival jury who recognized the universal truth in our story. Congratulations to all members of the team, our partner agencies, as well as the magazine Nedeljnik, ” said Jana Savić Rastovac, Executive Creative Director, McCann Beograd.

The EPICA awards for the “Thank you, doctors” campaign followed the recent BalCannes, Kaktus, and ACT Responsible awards. EPICA seeks to reward the outstanding creativity of agencies, consulting firms, PR, marketing or technology companies, production companies, design studios, and individual artists and promotes them beyond their national borders. The jury of the EPICA award includes representatives of the world’s most influential media who write about creativity in advertising.
